Ok, you have a forum installed and you want to make some extra income to cover those hosting or domain costs, or simply that big traffic bill. You sign up and get approved for adsense. You update your forums and got kicked 6 months later! What went wrong? This is what .. you broke the rules.

So keep this article in mind to avoid getting kicked.

You can get kicked if you of course click the banner yourself or ask others to click them, or if you use a fraud program. So DO NOT do that.

But if you have google adsense showing up as a thread or a post inside forumdisplay or showthread pages it appears as misleading sometimes. So make sure you don't modify the adsense code they give you, and make sure it doesn't mislead people.

Please don't put your adsense in between menu buttons, or in between posts or threads. I've had people complain to me they got banned from adsense for this.
