It is very stylish and artsy but I think the forum body not having a light background will wear on visitors eyes with some much red on red.

Nice forum, though personally the styles could use some work. They're not that attractive, and they don't really reflect an artistic feel of what the site is about.

The background is hella hard on the eyes. Also, red on black seems gothy, not artsy. Furthermore, I don't think red on red looks good at all. Try a different color scheme and definitely consider holding a contest for a redesigned header.
